Milestones
From the time I got my first training bra, I have been big-busted. My current bra is size 48-I. (Yes, they make them with an I cup.) I had to custom order it and it cost about $80. I only have one ordinary bra and one sports bra. I decided it was time to re-measure myself and see what my current bra size is. Turns out I am now a 46-D, not even DD, just D. I think I was in high school the last time that was my bra size. I'm kind of itching to buy a new one!

Five Months
Today is the 5-month anniversary of my surgery. It seems like it was a long time ago and yet my life has changed so much in such a short amount of time. I am so grateful for these changes. I have absolutely no regrets about having the surgery.
Here are some side-by-sides of our family Christmas pictures from this year and last. I actually didn't hate the pictures last year, which was unusual for me at the time. I don't see a huge difference in the close ups. I still have a lot of loose skin (and new wrinkles) on my face and neck. I do see a big difference in the full body shots.
Heaviest weight: 296.5
Surgery weight: 274.5
Today's weight: 222.4
Total pounds lost: 74.1 lbs.
Total pounds lost: 74.1 lbs.
Starting BMI: 49
Today's BMI: 37
This month was much slower as I mentioned in previous blog posts, but I am not discouraged. IMPATIENT, yes; discouraged, no.

OVER HALF WAY!!!
Today I hit (and passed) the halfway mark! This is a huge milestone for me. I have officially lost more weight than I ever have before. I feel like celebrating!
The next major milestone I'm aiming for is to weigh less than 200 pounds. That hasn't happened since I was about 23 years old.

Milestones
Today I weigh 223.8 pounds. That is the lowest weight I ever reached with Weight Watchers. The last time I weighed this was on May 17, 2008. It is the lowest I have been in my married life. Prior to Weight Watchers, the only other time I was in the 220's was in my early 20's. So from here on out, it's pretty much all new territory. I am .55 pounds from half way.
Yesterday, I raked leaves for a little over three hours. I didn't even need to take a break. It was amazing to me that I had energy and stamina to just keep going. I felt great. I can't believe how much my life has changed in just under five months. I feel like I have a new lease on life.
Sunday will be the official five month mark, so I'll post some before and after pictures.
