More Milestones

My parents have been visiting and last week we went to Congaree National Forest. We hiked just over two miles. A few months ago I would not have been able to do that. I wasn't even tired when we were through, although my hips were hurting.
The next day we went to Stone Mountain in Georgia. We didn't do much hiking, just a little walking, but once again, I was comfortable in my own skin and able to get around without any trouble.
This Sunday I wore the dress that I wore to the temple 12 years ago when I got married. I think it fit better yesterday than it did back then.
Today I wore a pair of pants that I hadn't worn in years. I was worried that they might be uncomfortable, but they were actually very loose - especially in the behind. Very exciting!
We went to eat out at Texas Roadhouse. Last time I sat in a booth there, my belly touched the table. Today I wasn't even close! On the way there, I sat in the very back row of the mini-van. I didn't have any trouble climbing into the back seat.
Little things like this each day are reminders of how far I've come and encourage me to keep going. I am thrilled with the changes I am seeing in my body.
